Hi, i've been doing a research about these called "soft gel tips" that claim to be made of "same gel formula". I think the official company who started all of this was Aprés Nails with the GelX kits, but i'm not buying this marketing sooo i started to investigate what other kinds of materials could they be using, but i don't really find anything online that doesn't mention the use of ABS plastic. Do you have any sort of information about this topic? Aren't all kinds of nail tips actually soak-off type? Could they (Aprés and any other company that claim to make "soft gel tips") be making this nail tips of just modified ABS plastic?

I ended up using this technique mastered once. lol it was kinda on a whim. But it worked really well with a thicker biab and I loved it. Can’t wait to try light elegance.

Am I the only one who thinks that this a-pex (I don't know if it is correctly written, english is not my first language, I am so sorry) is reminding of a chicken nail? It is sooo high and then the nail is going a little down. And I am not talking about the before, but about the result. I am going to my nail stylist every 3 weeks and my a-pex is never higher than my finger when I position it straight (or in any ofher position) and my nail is never going down, no matter how long it is. Since I watched few videos from other countries of how the nail stylist do the nail, the algorythm showed me more and to me, most of it looks like a chciken nail (even if the design on it is beautiful as f**k). Is it some kind of a new nail fashion or am I the only one who thinks this way?

The original way to do gels was just fine. This technique looks weird as there are so many steps to it. More time consuming in my opinion. Also gels weren’t made to filed or buffed over. I was a nail tech years back. Also if you did the original gel technique then you wouldn’t have to buff , file and works so hard. Gels and gel polishes were made to brush on. Cure and go..

I find LE builder gel is like chewing gum. .im finding it hard to manage 😢 9
